The Tombs

Like a huge tombstone, the monolith covers the tombs in which the remains of the victims of the massacre are placed. There are 336 tombs: one is dedicated to the memory of all the victims of Nazi and Fascist massacres, while the others are numbered from 1 to 335, following the order in which the bodies were found.
